We quite often visit profiles multiple times while we look at them, sometimes at different times and then together, talk about it, come back to look at pics again, chat some more...it might be days before we send a wink or a message...

We have a few that look a few times a day, I must admit I did block a few that were looking several times a day for a few days it seemed a little excessive and they were local.

I do something similar. If I see an aesthetically pleasing profile which I don't fit their needs, I will return to "appreciate the view", but not message.

I find myself looking at some profiles that I've looked at before - and sometimes I wonder why I haven't messaged them - and then it becomes clear when I re-read their profile.

For example, OP, having now seen your profile, if I was to come back to it again, I would be reminded of why I hadn't messaged you because of your very clear mention of 'No Men'

I guess there are several reasons as others have said but I personally dislike it, if they fill my looked at me page I tend to block, it just feels creepy that they keep coming back silently

I'd like to think so, but they probably get lots of messages and therefore I rarely get a reply, even if it's just to say thanks. The only time I know it's not appreciated is when they either delete the message or block me, unfortunately, but that's their choice. At least it ends any chance of me accidentally looking at their profile again and them thinking I'm odd or weird

There are a few profiles I look at now and then, not multi times per day, I like what I see but they aren't in my area so I can only perve.

It's also possible, whenever I'm on my laptop I type fab and hit enter, it auto takes me to a auto complete website, which isn't the home page,.so this is possible roo.

When we first joined we just kept clicking away not knowing who we were looking at. One couple sent us a message asking mg why. We gave them the honest answer. We are now not so new on here but still do it. Its only once you have opened the profile that you realise you have already viewed it.

There are times when you see someone attractive, that you can’t contact because they’re either; put you out of the age range, not looking for single guys, or not looking for the description that you are.

Even if you you are; and you follow the directions of sending a face pic, send a nice message still can end up with your message not responded to (whether deleted, ignored or blocked). Sometimes, it can be a case of not just not bothering and just fantasising, because disappointments come thick and fast on this platform. Sometimes I hope that you’ll catch their attention, hoping that they’ll open the conversation(never happens though) LOL.

I like looking at the new content that people put up. For various reasons I know that any contact wouldn't be appreciated - let's just call it window shopping (I also do alot of that)

Some folks have blocked us, presumably because they don't feel comfortable with me looking at their content and that is their prerogative and I'm fine with that.

Maybe expecting the other person to make the first move since they have viewed and I'd say that if you like something about the other drop them a message can be sort of an ice breaker unless you prefer back and forth viewing

People post photos of themselves nude, having sex, wearing sexy clothing, or lingerie...then thinks its weird that people look at them!

I know I do this and most of the time it’s accidental x if you change your profile pic regularly then it’s the pic people remember not the name x

I figure something in my profile stops him maybe or he just likes a pic or 2 ,but doesn't want to chat.

People like that annoy me everyday lookers with no message.. i block them, especially if they have no photos themselves.

I tend to view profiles repeatedly from the forum to remind myself who is who here. Like you said alot change their profile pictures and their profile names plus I've got gold fish level memory at times. Others I pop into checking if they've changed/added pictures. I've been blocked on some accounts which is fair enough and a useful tool to control access to your material.
