"Stay strong. Easier said than done I know. Everyday is a constant battle. refused all medications when I came back to this country as I felt it wasnt the way to go. For me meditation helps. Also living a simple life. I have set rules to keep away negative people as long-term they bring you down. 1.Don't let people make their problems your problems. Get rubbish people out of your life, the unhappy and unlucky will impact on you. It will never be their fault always someone else's possibly yours. 2.Askholes. People you have given advice too in the past and they still do the same shitty things. They come back and back. Invite them back that's on you. 3. Poor planing on your part does not constitute an emergency on my part. This is important as we run around for others who need to sort themselves out. Stop rushing or working hard for others. There is no reward in being nice.hard work goes unrewarded unless your a CEO. Some, not all depression can be helped by getting rid of the people in your life that are quite frankly useless. Being a people pleaser adds pressure on you because everyone wants to be loved or nice. Stop that. Too my cost I remove people from my life who disturb it with problems. My happiness comes before everyone so I protect myself from the naysayers, the doom & gloom merchants who are responsible for their shitty beliefs and way they run their life. I know this isn't the answer, depression takes many forms. Try to create a space for you away from humanity. Good luck, god bless " Such a thoughtful reply x | |||

Meditation and exercise definitely help. Distance from people who bring negativity also really helps. Seeking peace and space from others is something that has a really helped me too. "There’s a few things that trigger it off sometimes " Just keep talking about what ever these things are… Talking was / is the most important bing for me.. the more you talk the more you find people who have been in your exact situation. I still struggle daily, but talking to those who I trust (or sometimes people I don’t even know) is the only thing that gets my through each day. | |||
