So my attempt of keeping my 40th semi sensible has not really gone to plan lol. How did you all celebrate your 40th ( obviously aimed at the over 40,s club) if you’re not quite there yet, how did you celebrate your last birthday?

Oh really? That’s not good, tbf I spent most of my previous birthdays a similar way, it’s only because it’s my 40th that I’m doing something x

I went for a wonderful pub lunch with family and friends, then a walk in my favourite woods, and built a den with my son. Then home and a great bottle of red. A good day.

I'm unable to think that far back but vaguely most likely clubbing with friends and ended up in someone else's bed

Hated turning 40!! Seemed depressing. Didn’t put cards up or celebrate.

Now…..really looking forward to my 60th this year. And I still feel 28!!!

I’m struggling to see why you spent it on your own. I have just had a look at your profile and you look very sexy in your pictures. Was it by choice that you spent it on your own?

I'll admit I read your post and wondered about the significance your 40th semi.

I had the best birthday celebrations last year.

Glamping, in the middle of nowhere, for the whole weekend....

Just me and my ex Dom....

Perfection!

I'm tryna get away for the weekend this year but my work life hates me
