Have any of you ever dressed up to the 9's for a casual occasion? How did it make you feel?

Sunniest Exeter...

I once attended a work Xmas party (60s themed/formal) as Austin Powers...

For 20 seconds I owned the room (which was a sea of tuxes!) as I rocked up in a blue suit, crazy hair and bad teeth!

Nah! Like I said, I owned that room for 20 seconds. Most power I have ever had

I frequently over dress and I feel fine about it. I was once 'accused' and the woman made it an accusation, of turning up for work looking as if I was going out to dinner. I took it as a compliment

I love dressing up. I've got nice clothes, why not wear them.

My aunt looked scruffy a lot of the time, when she died we donated a lot of nearly new clothes she was keeping for best. What a waste!

That's a shame!

I was in Italy at what was billed as a formal dinner for the entire company. Our UK group went in full dinner jackets and ball gowns.

The other 400 came in what I would describe as smart casual. Or even jeans (the Italians)

Friend was having a Christmas house party last year. I'm a bit of a Christmas Wanker and love the idea of those traditional old fashioned parties where everyone gets dressed up just to hang out in someone's living room and kitchen (think Kim Wilde Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree video). So I go out and buy the sparkliest party dress I can find. Nobody else had the same idea Yeah I was overdressed, but felt stunning and sexy af!

Went to a birthday party of a family member, it was one of the big '0' birthdays. I turned up in a suit, everyone was in jeans and tshirt.

Once fooled into wearing a suit to a beach wearing party. I rode it out and said as I am a mod it was my Brighton 64 beach wear.

Ended up a cracking night

Went to what I thought was an interview for a job, so of course I wore a suit.

Got there only to discover it was just an agency where all I had to do was fill out a form in a room with a bunch of chavvy lads who look like they just rolled out of bed lol.

Once underdressed by wearing a jean jacket to a theatre (a long long time ago), i was convinced it was a casual affair and everyone there was dressed smart shirts. Still cringe now lol.

hiding from cock pics.

I'm often quite overdressed.

Yesterday a backless velvet dress and six inch heels to a casual meal at a member of my families home.
