Thats only fair - I think that applies to pretty much everyone who is genuine here. Anyone who wants to meet immediately I would block instantly.

I think you’ve missed the point of the post.

My profile says I don't send a face pic unless I'm arranging a meet, and because I wouldn't send one, I'm now fake

"My profile says I don't send a face pic unless I'm arranging a meet, and because I wouldn't send one, I'm now fake"

OP was saying that people say to her when she asks for pictures that they ‘need to build trust before sending pictures’, OP put that comment in quotation marks to show that it was someone else saying it to her….but she then stated that she needs to know that she’s attracted to someone before she invests time in getting to know them and building trust…I think OP was trying to point out that it’s a bit of a catch-22 situation because time needs to be invested to build enough trust to share pictures but she doesn’t want to invest time in someone she hasn’t seen a picture of to make sure there’s an attraction first. I don’t think that OP was saying that either sentiment is wrong, she was just highlighting the difficulties of it.

I think the second poster thought that OP was saying that she doesn’t share pictures until they’ve built trust and invested time and then commented that the genuine people on here will want to build trust before sharing pictures rather than meeting straight away.

So the second poster was saying that genuine people will wait before sharing pictures so i don’t understand why you think he was saying you were fake, he was saying the exact opposite of that….and OP didn’t say anything about anyone being fake….so why do you think anyone was saying you’re fake for waiting to share pictures? What did you read in any of those posts that made you feel like you were being accused of being fake?

We find that after chatting with someone we arrange the first meet as a coffee in a public place to see if we click and there's sparks if neither then you still have had a nice morning out and a nice coffee
