I have recently claimed my status as Bisexual.

Had a couple of bi experiences previously.

Recently i have thought more and more about what i want to do (visit bi clubs, take cock etc). It is not going way so want to embrace the feeling.

Interested in other people's journey here (M and F) in terms of how they made the leap of faith?

I really do not want PM's stating what they want to do to me!

Some genuine guidance and thoughts would be great.

Might be being naive here but here is hoping.

I don't think I can provide anything useful here.

There was no leap of faith for me. The person has always been of more interest to me than their genitalia, and I was learning how to play with and enjoy all sides around the same exploratory time of my life.

Also, having been a goth weirdo forever, I was pretty accustomed to random homophobic slurs long before I'd even considered sexuality, so I didn't have any qualms about how it would be perceived publicly.

I guess just go for what feels right with the people you're drawn to.

This is pretty spot on for me too lol. the goth weirdo and shit I got for it (I used to wear a dress someone made.for me and new.rocks so I got a bit.of.stick) was shit.

Was open and out from 2 years ago and compared to years gone, it's a bit more tolerant these days (not everywhere and still work to do)

Most people already new with me anyway.

I actually think people are more tolerant of homosexuals than they are of Bisexuals. You get comments about hedging your bets etc. For me it's always been about the person. However I grew up in an era when it wasn't easy to be open. Sadly my own family don't know

At the end of the day you have to do right for you. Maybe you should take a leap of faith and try more things and see if you are into them if not move on to another thing to try. Just be yourself and try to find someone who you can connect with too

Advice for you:

1. Just fuck who you want and who you like. Don't get hung up on labels. All they do is "otherise" people.

2. Take your health seriously. Condoms always, and comprehensive STD tests at least twice a year.

3. Go to Club Play in Blackpool for their next bi/pan night.

Started late teens.. not even sure how other than using g the Internet corrupted me.

Started as a top and had fun but always felt ashamed and disgusted after.

I never wanted to know who I'd met so saunas abd cruising were next.

Fast forward 25 years im now mostly bottom. I have accepted who I am and what I like and things are good but the journey continues

I phoned the sex clinic of the local hospital. Asked for a time. At the appointment, told them the truth.

After asking me more questions, they said that's fine, they started giving me preventative medicine, and health advice, and counselling for anxiety.

No advice to give but well done for taking your leap of faith and good luck on your journey.

You need to do what you enjoy and doesn’t matter your sexual preference, hopefully make friendships along the way.

Maybe Only advice would be honest and open in any relationships you may have, if they love you they will hopefully support you. It may not be that they want to be involved with any action as it were but kept in the loop is appreciated rather than being completely shut out especially when it comes with a higher risk to sexual health if you decide to play bb x

Not going to be much help I'm afraid, as I've always been bi. The only suprise for me was when I discovered everyone didn't feel that way. Still didn't ID as bi for years.

As a female, I'm sure it's more accepted generally, but still heard all the slurs. Though to be honest, as a fat goth, living in the Welsh valleys, there was so many other things for people to comment on, my sexuality was way down the list.

If I'm attracted to a person, it's got little to do with what is between thier legs.

As a couple we have discussed our fantasies for many years, tried a couple of meets as mmf and the bisexual feelings didn’t go away and were just enhanced.

What you do and experience is something personal and so long as you respect yourself and others then that should always rid any problems.

I believe putting a name on the fun that can be achieved by becoming free with the acts of sex and sexual pleasure is something you shouldn’t think about. Just do what you want and forget about the title of bisexual. And enjoy the experiences had.
