I always find it helps to give the girl a few orgasms 1st, more the better, and then lube up and go slow, also found it helps her if she uses her bum muscles as though she is pushing a poo out, allows easier entry, most of all, trust, that she knows if she wants it to stop, it will immediately

Think about diet and cleanliness in the lead up. Make sure you have a lube that doesn't feel weird to you. Relax and have fun beforehand. Anal goes a lot easier for me if I've already had a good few orgasms. Start with smaller things, toys, fingers, tongues. Dont get stressed out if it hurts too much and you need to stop, you can always try again another time and knowing a slow down or stop will be respected makes it easier next time

Some people prefer to douche beforehand (I usually do). If you're having anal sex it's natural to worry about mess, even if it only happens under certain circumstances. I find I can relax more if I have douched beforehand (and it's easy to find advice online as to how to do so).

I also echo every comment about making sure you're super turned on and relaxed, and LUBE. The more lube the better.

I had never done it before until meeting my man and was really nervous about trying due to bad experiences in my past. My man was very gentle and patient with me taking things slow a little teasing with a finger now and then before progressing. Make sure to use plenty of lube as that helps and make sure to slow things down if you need to.

It's not that physically difficult. You should be aiming for at least "orgasm enhancing" not "as comfortable as possible"...

Anal lube is handy on sex toys like those little clit suckers that need a seal so useful anyway. Pushing out a bit, yep.

You should start by slowly getting him used to having things going in his ass hole rather than just out of it by regular fingering, you can finger his ass and he can also finger his own ass himself, maybe you could assign him a minimum amount of time every day that he needs to spend fingering his own ass in the days leading up to the big event.
