I've just unfortunately have a bad experience at a club local to me, I've been a frequent visitor in the past and and met some lovely people. However I went to a quiz night as a single male and brought a single male friend.

I was refused entry because 2 single male can be intimidating to women and that is the policy. Ignoring the fact that everyone meets up with friends in their and that I could have easily been dishonest and went in separately

Is this just part of our culture now where men are automatically assumed as dangerous and intimidating? Would 2 gay single men be judged this way also? 2 single women?

Obviously you've just got to except the policy and move on but I've never lived in a time before where men are so distrusted, deemed toxic, judged and demonised on the actions of minorities.

Everyone can be intimidating, everyone can be dangerous or is this just a male thing, because in my profession I can tell you it's not just a male thing

i judge no one because they are a man you cant tar all idiots ruin it for themselves ...the club was wrong in my eyes but the problem is those couples who think they run the clubs who moan constantly about men ..

at the same time dont tar all us women and couples as the same we are not its just a small hardcorer group who think men are the problem .... i love clubs with more men in and when im talking to a guy via here im not thinking what others think of him im making my own mind up ..

also you hear all the guy bashing on hear but what you all fail to realize is the forums are a tiny tiny part some say its 55 of the site i think its more one or two % the scene is bigger than the forums its bigger than fab and its bigger than clubs ..no body should be judged on other behaviour ..
