Went a few months ago went to have a clit hood pierced in Dudley thy said it was not possible because of a blood vessel in the way. I’m hoping to get a second opinion.

Has any one out there had their hood pierced recently & can recommend a studio.

I'm tempted to think your piercer was speaking complete nonsense, but I could be wrong.

When you asked, did you say that you wanted your clit hood pierced? Or just just clit? Did they even examine you? Piercing the actual clitoris CAN be difficult and cause problems if the piercer isn't very experienced. Clit hood is quite easy to do, and I've never heard of there being major blood vessels in the way.

Did you specify whether you wanted it done horizontally or vertically? I would imagine that if there were problems one way, then the other way would have been an option?

I've had mine done, and know several other women who have too, and never heard of any problems with blood vessels.

I would certainly find an experienced, well recommended piercer to give you a second opinion, but as I'm miles away from you I have no idea who or where.

Good luck though, and I'm sure you'll enjoy the sensations the piercing provides if you do have it done

You can have a blood vessel in way had mine done the other day and he checked hood with torch to make sure there were none in way, and no it wasn't a miners helmet !!

If you do go to get a second opinion, make sure they're a highly reputable piercer. It might be worth explaining what you've already been told so they can examine carefully for you?

I must admit-I always thought good pierces were able to get the needle safely round blood vessels. People get piercings done all over their bodies so it can't be that big an issue?
