Ok I'm sure I am going to get some flack for this but hey thats what the forums are for right?

As a single guy on here i try very hard to write a decent profile and put pics on etc, so why is it ok for SOME women to write quite cutting messages or very blunt profiles? and sometimes not write anything at all. Yes i know it's the ladies market here but it works to ways doesn't it?

Its not okay for any of what you've said, in an ideal world Noone would ever be rude or cutting and we would all got to read just what we need to know about someone. However when personal choice is thrown in that's what you get. Male profiles can be exactly the same as can the cutting remarks. X

i have no doubt guys profiles can be just as bad, all i'm saying is as a single guy we have to try extra specially hard to even get a message and women should put the same effort in irrespective of the fact they will get bombarded even without having a single pic or word to share.

( and i totaly get what the OP is saying)...its quite funny sometimes how some females come across..as if there doing you a favour by talking to them...ive noticed some have funny names like "treatmelikeabitch" (example)..then complain there not getting any respect ?...lol !..what a funny world we live in !lol

Mixed re_iews!the majority of my friends are male so I get to see and hear about what it's like for both sides.At the end of the day swinging is a fun and recreational activity and shouldn't be taken too seriously,there are plenty of nice profiles and people on here to make up for the idiots xxx

Why people let it get to them is bewildering, if they are rude just be thankful they have displayed it as that stops any more time being wasted...

I've been in and off here for a while now and have realised it all should be taking with a pinch of salt and to be taken to seriously. It should be fun after all and if things annoy about this site then you either get over it, get thicker skin and go with flow or leave. Just try and enjoy and not fall into the trap of the single guy frustration trap just enjoy x

Not all of us are rude (ok waiting 3 or 4 days for a response might seem rude to some) but some of us do bother with profiles and pics. Some of us do bother replying to messages and are not nasty when we do.

You have the choice not to email someone with a short/lacking profile, and if you want to meet a 91 year old, then that is your business but even at a ripe age, they have the right to decline someone.

Personally I do not meet with men that bleet on that women rule on here;

either person(s) have the right to say sorry I'd rather not.

To the op, youve only searched womens profiles, try spending the same amount of time searching mens profiles; you may revise your opinion.

Especially if you consider 'playing without permission' as rude.

folks im not saying men arent as bad, i think the point is being missed, im not frustrated nor do i have a bruised ego, i have many friends from here and i enjoy all aspects of swinging, what i am saying is... single men get hammered for so much as not having a face pic.. and woman can simply have nothing and still get inundated.. there is no need for anyone to be rude on here wether in a profile or a refusal.. its just an observation

Well I'm looking around, to see who is out there. As my profile says, ultimately I'm looking to meet and have fun but it has to be the right person. I think one of my faults is that I'm too choosy and because there are so many men and so few women it's terribly hard to even get replies. Women can afford to browse, window shop and have a wide selection on offer.

Even when I match the profile they are looking for with regards to age, race, area, non smoker etc and, "Can string two sentences together and not use text speak", like so many seem to be asking for, I don't get any replies if I message them. Some of my messages just get deleted. Would be nice just to get even a “No thanks”. If it’s deleted I don’t contact again, it would appear they are not interested but it would be nice to know they didn’t delete my message by accident, like a bulk delete, so a “No thanks” wouldn’t go amiss. Common courtesy really which is what many women seem to be asking for rather than “Neanderthals”, as they put it.

And I don't cut and paste the same text onto a hundred messages. Each one is individual and related to their profile text, using their name if given. I’m not even getting many people looking at my profile unless they have hidden that function so I don’t know they have looked. Get a few couples even though I’m not looking for a couple. And there’s another thing. Some women list themselves as single and then when you read their profile it says they are attached or married. I know it’s a swinging site but come on, be straight, don’t lie.

I have asked several ladies if my profile is OK, whether it stands out from the crowd, is interesting to read, not too saucy with picture content etc etc and changed my profile accordingly but still no interest. Maybe (a sex) life just stops when you are 50? Well a man of 50 anyway. 50 seems to be the default cut off age for women of all ages looking for men. Some of us men over 50 are still alive.

There seem to be many womens profiles that don’t tell you until the bottom of their profile that they are not meeting at the moment or not meeting single men. So I read through, get all excited only to be disappointed. And many, who allow single men to look, allow single men in their preferences but then say in the text no single men! That’s annoying too. Can’t they put it at the top? Or change their preferences to suit?

Also the site seems to return my searches with lists of women who aren’t looking for my age range even when I ask it to match their sought age range which seems a little bizarre. And annoying to say the least. And also it returns those who don’t block single men but say in their profile, no single men. Surely women could change their profile to reflect this change in their preferences.

I had a real downer at the weekend and changed my profile to suit, laying down all sorts of requirements. I basically copied one of the more extreme ladies ones and turned it around to be the other way. That is no attached or married, no smokers, no couples, age range etc etc and then put just "my preference" after each statement as they seem to do and then went on to say that if they contacted me send a picture or no deal, and they wont be getting into my underwear with one poorly written message, they’d have to work for me and prove themselves and it won't happen on the first meet etc. If anything they should restore my faith in women. Didn’t work! Funny that huh?

I appreciate it must be difficult for women, probably so many messages each day to read through but a little thought into sorting out their profile might help them have fewer inappropriate messages from (single) men that will never meet their preferences. Then they wouldn’t have to get stroppy with single men.

Anyway, that’s enough whinging. Wonder if anyone witll answer this or maybe everyone in the world will now block me after that tirade?

I am super fussy and state so on my profile . Get a million messages and can tell most not read my profile or are trying their luck pretending to be something their not so I just dont reply to be honest. But if been chattin then realise I dont like them I just say sorry your not for me and usually that's ok . Only rude if someone then hurls abuse but then just block anyway. No point being rude or hurtful

I have got snotty with people in the past. Generally when my profile has said 'not looking to meet' and I still get messages.

I have been known to refer people back to my profile only to be told that they are exactly what I am looking for... Except for the fact that I wasn't currently looking

Add in the men who seem convinced that I won't notice that they are 8 inches shorter/fifteen years older/five stone heavier than I am looking for (my preferences are stated in the first sentence of my profile) and you will begin to understand why I hid it instead of sending acerbic retorts to men who think I won't bother to read the wordy bit since they don't!

it is what it is, simple really.

there will always be profiles from single women that are rude etc and all that has been mentioned, if you dont like the profile dont message them,move on and dont worry about it,you will find ladys on here that are really great girls.

its more amusing to me than anything else, in the army we called it "army girl syndrome".....2 or 3 girls on camp among 300 plus males....they will have a great amount of attention,so they belive that they are gods gift,stunners and such like.....but in the real world they wouldnt even catch your eye,not even once.thats how it is in the swinging life too.ignore them just like they are ignored in the real world.

it is very much a two way street...

no one is pointing a gun to your head and telling you you must answer messages or profiles from these types... so if more people didn't answer them, the attitudes would change...

its a case of self respect... you want to jump thru hoops... good for you, but you can't really complain if that is what you are prepared to do in the 1st place, and it doesn't work...

yeah i do find it funny when u have some women on here that u wouldnt look twice at on the street write the type of profile that would make u think they are a supermodel.and lets be honest there aint many of them on here.as was said prveiously though its all about supply and demand so u just have to chuckle and move on.theres plenty meets out there if ur willing to put the effort in

Not all of us are rude (ok waiting 3 or 4 days for a response might seem rude to some) but some of us do bother with profiles and pics. Some of us do bother replying to messages and are not nasty when we do.

You have the choice not to email someone with a short/lacking profile, and if you want to meet a 91 year old, then that is your business but even at a ripe age, they have the right to decline someone.

Personally I do not meet with men that bleet on that women rule on here;

either person(s) have the right to say sorry I'd rather not.

To the op, youve only searched womens profiles, try spending the same amount of time searching mens profiles; you may revise your opinion.

Especially if you consider 'playing without permission' as rude.

folks im not saying men arent as bad, i think the point is being missed, im not frustrated nor do i have a bruised ego, i have many friends from here and i enjoy all aspects of swinging, what i am saying is... single men get hammered for so much as not having a face pic.. and woman can simply have nothing and still get inundated.. there is no need for anyone to be rude on here wether in a profile or a refusal.. its just an observation

You are only seeing it from a single guy's perspective. I often get abusive messages in response to a polite 'no thanks' unless I instantly block. Just had one not 20 minutes ago as I did not block fast enough. Also, got one from a guy who's profile can only be considered misogynistic - I cannot imagine a single woman who would find it appealing with the rant, in capital, against women which he has put on there.

All you can say is that some PEOPLE are rude. Not just men, women or couples.

Well I don't think I'm a supermodel and certainly didn't expect the attention I got when I joined :/

I do try and make sure the guy actually has some interest in me and not just out of desperation which is why I talk for a while before meeting to make sure they have an interest in bbw.

Have to say the majority of guys I have met stick around and want more and many have wanted more than just sex but I'm single cos I choose to be not cos I have issues

I can be choosy cos 1 I'm not desperate and 2 cos the amount of choice I have allows me to be.

That's the way it is

However saying that I don't use this site to look for single guys as I find most of them just too desperate. I use another site where numbers are better matched and the guys more respectful

I honestly could count on two hands the rude messages I have had in response to a no thanks. Usually I get a thank you for replying and have fun all the same type reply. I don't understand why so many get these rude ppl? Maybe I'm just lucky lol

Well I could have... but most of them were not even in my age range or willing to show pics so they get told to fuck off!
