Hey all.

Does anyone here suffer with anxiety? I’m really bad at the moment and constantly think the worst of everything and it makes me feel quite low.

This is far from a cry for help don’t worry but sometimes I just feel quite lonely and like everything is against me if you get me. I work I don’t really go out much as I don’t really enjoy the drinking aspect.

This post is just to see if anyone else has the same sort of issues as me and what you do to get out of it as at the moment everything I’m getting told to do just isn’t working.

My confidence is at an all time low. But please please all understand this is NOT a cry for help this is genuinely to help me and hopefully others who are in the same situation

Thanks in advanced

I'm sorry to hear you're feeling this OP . I do know what it's like I've had anxiety for most of my adult life to date.

When I get bad bouts, the panic attack inducing kind I find that fresh air and breathing techniques can help a bit. I need to get away from the noise for a few minutes, clear my head and focus on my breathing.

As for the negative thoughts and loneliness, maybe a break in routine if possible may help even if it's only small. Try to squeeze in a short walk every day, a little bit of self care every day and try to communicate with people even when you'd rather not... you'd be surprised how many times a smile on the street from a stranger or a little nod has helped.

Have you got people around you that know how you're feeling?

Thank you for that it’s not a nice feeling at all . I think it stems from my past relationships . I also think there is a bit of jealousy maybe in there as a lot of people on here have the sort of relationship and future I want if that makes sense

I understand that everyone feels a bit jealous of others at times it's normal. Try to look at the positives in your life and work up from there. You're young and have plenty of time to find what you're looking for . You need to get yourself sorted out first ,work on that before bringing anybody else in. You'll get there OP but if it persists or gets worse then speaking to your GP couldn't hurt
