Daytime visit to clubs

Can someone advise me if it would be good idea to visit a club in daytime for my first visit to get a feel for the place and if they could recommend a club in north west to visit

Clubs can be very hit or miss in the daytimes and you may feel that it was an expensive way to spend a few hours in the company of a couple of other guys.

But wouldn’t expect anything if it was busy night so could be same on a busy night
