Well if you're going to have trouble dealing with seeing them, let alone seeing them having sex with someone else, then I would have left the place. Who wants to put themselves through that?

Leave it for a while, meet someone else and go back when you've really moved on.

I would leave if I had feelings for them. Watching them playing with no involvement from you would be far too painful.

But if you think theres a chance of rekindling the relationship, stick around as suggested above.

Personally I have never been in this situation but I hope that I would be mature enough to smile politely, maybe say hello then carry on my evening. I wouldn't suggest talking or shagging as there are too many feelings at the surface.

I'd then perhaps message them a couple of days after saying how I felt. Although you stillhhave feelings for him it doesn't mean he has them fir you and I feel any attempt to speak to him on the night has the potential to escalate into nastiness, especially of he is there with someone else.

I did a little eyebrow up thing, said good evening as I walked past; head held high and carried on with my night ignoring him.

My life has moved on and I did not let him see any reaction from me.

I actually had a good night.

I made sure I did not look out for him and I did not play in an open room,

Truth be told it was very hard; but I am not one to air my laundry in public.

I found out weeks later, from a mutual friend. He was guted and left early; so I am glad I just got on with my night
