we then get an email from someone who only joined today saying would we reconsider as they are only staying local for a few days..

Guess there's never any harm in asking as long as it's a polite request and not pushy. But yeah I've had 'not currently meeting' on my profile a couple of times and some people just don't take no for an answer, some are incredibly rude and others with an ego the size of Texas think they're gonna be the one to change your mind.

I had one on a couples profile today and all it said was..

" COME ROUND AND HAVE SEX WITH US TODAY WE LIKE YOUR PIC"

And yes it was in caps instant turn off

politely said read the profile etc then they came back with 'fancy a chat, we might get on and you may change your mind'...

thats when we had to be a bit 'to the point'..
