ive worked remotely for 12 years ....mostlt from home but also all over the world when ive been on holiday even on my honeymoon its very very convenient as long as i can get on the internet i can work im a management accountant ....i cook the books for companies at month end !!!

I’m hybrid two days a week at home, three on site. No disadvantages. Less fuel, car time, generally cut car running costs a lot (almost £2k/year) sleep in later.

I already used a room as an office space so now it’s just for work too, so that could be a disadvantage if you don’t have space.

I’d never want to go fully remote. Got a taste of it in lockdown and it was rubbish being alone all day. Teams/Zoom just isn’t the same. No office banter, coffee chats etc.

I always go to site when I need to/I never prioritise WFH, and it’s worked really well for our team. I think all jobs where it’s viable should offer it. Makes balancing life much easier.

Working from home is amazing. No commute, home comforts right there and you don't necessarily have to be at home because you can work whilst travelling

I've worked from home for 4yrs + now. The past 6 mths I've really missed the face to face banter etc.

Most days I'm really productive but I work longer hours and rarely take a break.

Work from home based but often out and about, with visits to the office sometimes because I need to. Sometimes because I choose to. I wouldn't like to be completely isolated from the office.

I work on IT projects and have been wfh for 3 years now.

The biggest advantage is no commute, i'd lose 2.5 hours a day if they made me go back now.

Small disadvantages are things like not being able to print at home, which makes some finance work quite difficult having to work on a small laptop screen. my employer disabled some of the ports on my laptop as well as bluetooth for "security" reasons, but i suspect this was just to make wfh less convenient.

i dont think my employer will ever go back to 100% ft... they are selling buildings now and the ones they still have are half closed so they dont have to pay to heat parts of them,i'm sure there will be opportunities for you.

I’m in a contact centre but have been working from home for 3 years, I love it but have multiple health issues so can be in my pj and still work.

I do miss the office banter but I’m more productive at home

I travelled a lot in my jobs then 10 years ago got job working from home but I decided to go to the office everyday even though I was home worker as it was close then COVID I had to work from home.

I recently changed jobs as still a home worker but office is too far to go every day so it gets a bit lonely.

Chatting to others at work makes the day go faster.

Also there are other benefits which I didn't expect to find

I find there's less disruption when I'm working from home and I get to escape office politics (which let's face it, tends to make any job 100x worse)
