Lube recommendations!

Peak District

So, during some fun last night we discovered something unexpected. Lube allergy!

The lady we were playing with suddenly was in pain. After stopping and making sure she was ok, we chatted and helped her realise she is probably allergic to the parabens or glycerin in some lubes.

So to avoid this in future we’d like your recommendations for water based lube that are paraben and glycerin free!

What would you recommend and why?

I mean for anything vaginal and with partners wd hope not necessary (personally I wd not play with her rather than lube unless was preexisting medical thing I knew abt). For anal, random other bits and solo play with toys Wicked or Sliquid meet your criteria and are vegan too. The 'male' branded sliquids are called Ride I think - I don't care abt the colour of the bottle so get whatever is cheapest per ml

Just had a look at Sliquid. Can’t believe the price difference

Thanks for the recommendations. We’ll try them and see what works best

We love Liquid Silk.

I'm allergic to lots of things in other lubes. And I'm also allergic to latex. So I need to be careful about what lube and condoms to use. Liquid Silk isn't the cheapest but its great for using with toys, condoms, anal...

Another thought: we need a Dr! I once had an *awful* lot of fun in a hospital when I found the ultrasound lube supplies. Pretty sure the NHS will be using hypoallergenic AND cheap stuff.

*NB I was a patient, not there with professional responsibilities!

Try optilube, it's often used by hospitals.

Liquid Silk is incredible. It's more expensive than your basic lubes but it's worth it in my opinion and no where near the most expensive.

We won't buy anything else these days, and at least we know if we are using it with anyone else it hopefully won't bring out an allergic reaction in them either. Comfort and pleasure all round haha
