Just gauging interest at the moment.

What would people's thoughts be on a different kind of group social?

A Saturday afternoon BBQ in a public place, during the summer? Like a riverside picnic area, maybe somewhere near Rugby or Daventry.

It would be very much like an ordinary pub group social, but outside and earlier in the day.

Yep. I'm sure we can find a suitable location. I think people will need to be responsible adults though, and be respectful to others in the vicinity.
