Indirectly yes. Not in the sense of we wouldn't play with someone because they played with so and so (because that's just a touch childish), but if we look at verifications and they are all from the sort of profiles that we personally aren't overkeen on then we wouldn't message them assuming that we wouldn't be their type.

I've not met someone for a similar ish reason very recently.

Her meets were all black guys and she banged on and on about BBC in her profile and telling white guys not to contact her.

She messaged me and told me I was a lucky exception. That went nowhere fast.

Yes - I read verifications quite a lot and also have a look at the profiles of those who have met a potential meet. Only once has it put me off though.

And it is for that reason I display all mine - people can then make whatever judgements they like. It all adds to the information we try to glean about people we intend being very intimate with.

Yes...there is one particular female in the same area that I now avoid the meets of as she has been a bit nasty to a couple of meets in common when they have said they don't want future meets with her and I can't be arsed with her drama again!

Agreed. Everyone has different likes and dislikes. Just because someone got on with someone I didn't or wouldn't....that wouldn't stop me from finding out for myself. There are lots of things to consider but everyone should really be judged on their own merits!

The only problem with that is that people do not always show ALL their verifications. They may only show a select few. Also, what about people they may meet off another site? Or meet/have met beyond the internet?

I don't consider any number too many necessarily. I tend to look for the quality - they may have a lot which are very good and may all be saying similar things which indicates what kind of 'player' they are which may well suit me - or not!

I have read veri's from horny gorgeous people on a profile and wondered what on earth that person would want to meet me for. But they did and it was brilliant so it was a confidence boost.

I wouldn't bother about veri's in any other way. The profile may have just 3 veri's, yet have met a million people in 'real life'.

I think anyone that takes veri's as some sort of guaranteed sexual history are totally and utterly deluded!!!!

I rarely use veris as the only reason to meet someone, so I don't cross reference at all. And its incredibly rare that I recognise any names when I do read veris. Surprisingly there hasn't been much cross-over seeing how hard it is to arrange meets in my part of the world.

Having said that I have filtered people out when I do recognise certain names on their veris, purely because I know I wouldn't be what they want.

I have read some that are very, very different and put over a totally different feeling...can't explain it but you read them and think it would be safer to steer well clear

I am - to me it means they just do camming and not meeting. I do know one guy on here who definitely does just that - and on another site I used to be a member of. That's what some people prefer. We look to see if the people they have met have a reasonable degree of attractiveness as well....we do judge people by the company the keep. It is often very revealing.

We also wouldn't meet people who have met a number of local people who have given us abuse in the past. Arseholes.

It's another one of the sites ironies that so many people hide veris from 'controversial' playmates. Along with bi-guys hiding their sexuality and married men hiding the truth because they see the negativity such things attract.

This means the honest ones are penalised but the dishonest probably get better luck getting meets... sort of a 'honest-liar' vicious circle.

I show all my veris, I sometimes hide a few from repeat meets as they are not always required, but I figure if people don't want to meet me because of who I've played with then they probably aren't for me anyway.

Can't say we've been 'put off' due to who they've met before, but it has made us ask some questions - specially when previous couples they've met appear to be nothing like us. In all cases so far where this has happened, we've not gone much further with the conversation as it has turned out it could easily have been our profile giving the wrong impression. In other words, the other couple had got the idea we are similar to their previous meets, when we're not.

Hence the reason we (or rather, I) revise or profile wording quite often based on the reactions we get and to save any embarrassment..

Brighton - even Hove!

I look at veris to see if people are real or not. And to see what sort of people they have met but there are so many variations even within groups, I don't decide not to meet just because of who they have met.

I did have a guy i met a couple of times stop meeting me because he was trying to meet a couple who told him they wouldnt meet him if he kept meeting me, they did give their reason why and he obviously decided he would sooner met them than me lol

Im terrible for deciding for people if they will like me, if a guy mails me and hes really good looking i just think, no point meeting he not like me, then if i check his veries and they are full of good looking women i just think hes taking the piss now lol

Thanks for that but I don't think I am.. And that's what the problem is.. We are all different shapes and sizes! My god wouldn't it be boring if we were all the same

Similar I guess. I've also had guys ask me not to leave them a verification

I know and not just one person to try it as well!!!

A friend of mine hides hers now because there is someone who likes to meet everyone she's met... Freaky

I have put a couple back on now, only because I don`t want people thinking I`m a timewawaster

I love mine too hunni, I've had some lovely things said about me, but sadly, because apparently "I'm classy" lmao, someone wants everything I've had lol

Mine are hidden, however I will give names of profiles, showing veri's from me, so people/potential meets can see Im gen, so I dont have to show mine.

It only took the one occasion my veri's were followed, contacted and other things, and I decided to stash them for good.

Ive actually started popping into my looked at me, as I was getting alot of attention from a certain profile and it was too bizarre, so I blocked her, but it has made me much more wary
