The old ones are the best, you'll never get the same vibe as you did from Terry Wogan, Jimmy Young and good old smooth talking Ken Bruce! Woke up many a morning with breakfast in the company of Terry and his TOGS (people of a certain age will know what i mean) always guaranteed a laugh in the mornings with TW, and always looked forward to the Popmaster quiz with Ken, that wasn't as easy as people thought! End of another era......it's called progress supposedly??

I thought he was just moving to Greatest Hits Radio, just like some of his colleagues.

~I agree, but, if they carry on like they currently do the BBC won't have a business. I'm sure many people are getting fed up with the BBC. I certainly am.

I am a long fan of Radio 2, with Steve Wright and Ken Bruce as my faves…. Both gone!

All that is left for me now is Gary Davies on a Saturday evening, and Johnny Walker in a Sunday afternoon!!

R xx

Ken did the dirty on the BBC and chose to leave. Being put on gardening leave is the very least I would expect of any company or business.

So what did he do then? Not heard anything along those lines, enlighten us please?

Thank God he's gone from bbc radio 2. It's the only station I listen too when I'm driving and now I can enjoy it uninterrupted without having to turn it off when his annoying piss taking voice comes on. It's a happy day for me.
