Hi

I am just wondering on people's views on having to show a negative STI test before a group meet.

Would you be prepared to do that or not? Thanks

Absolutely I would! It's also something I'd expect people to be happy to share before meets. Testing is free and can be done at home so absolutely no reason not to be willing to do one and share the results.

If that was a stipulation, sure. But the results would only show your status at the time you took the test.

While I don't see any invites to group events coming my way, something that absolutely can and should be done. Easy and very quick to do at home.

When I say clean I’m not just talking about a freshly shaven vag. TLDR version yes

Yes I’d be willing to do that. Nothing to hide and definitely one for promoting safety within the swing community.

It's clearly not 100% but still less risk. Thank u for your reply x

Leeds (Home) / Sheffield (Work)

Not guaranteed safety really. Lots of things have 8-12 week windows to show.

I wouldn’t have a problem with that

Carlisle usually

I have no issues with sharing my latest results.

Bareback still would not be happening, though

I always offer to show my most recent certificate, kind of gives the other person a nudge in the right direction

I test regularly so I've always got a text to show if needed, if a meet wanted a more recent one, absolutely I will do but I'd expect them to as well.

However, everything will still be protected during play. Just may mean less restrictive with oral play.

I get tested monthly (full screening and oral swabs) and happy to share results.

But I certainly don’t rely on others test results or believe them.

Too many variables and questions- have they waited 2 weeks, did they so all swabs, bloods? Who knows.

Never play bare (even for oral) so try and dk what I can to make it as safe as possible but seeing’s results doesn’t really do much to make me feel safer x

Results aren't an immediate thing and they only contact if there is an issue otherwise there is no 'you are all clear'. Mind you I have never asked for a breakdown test result sheet. People could sleep with any number of people in that period so whether it's a group or one to one, it largely doesn't matter, if you're active you should test as regularly as you feel necessary.

get tested every 6 weeks im lucky tho as i do voluntary work with those that test ... every swinger should test bare or safe ...its the ones that think they dont have to because they play safe thats a worry .... no such thing as safe sex only safer sex

It’s important to be tested regularly and to the fullest extent you can be.

Whilst the tests are not 100% due to time taken and time after last ‘interaction’ they do provide some comfort and confidence and at least shows that you and the person(s) you’re meeting take their health and the health of others seriously.

If a condition of a meet then I absolutely don’t have an issue with it though would hope to see the results of others also.

OP I hope you have an amazing meet. All involved are very lucky to be able to spend some time with you. Stunning pic on your profile.
