I need to vent hope you don't mind.

So yesterday I found a couple on here and was messaging the lady for a couple of hours, we hit it off, lots in common and definitely looking like we were meeting.

This morning I say hi and her or their response was an instant block???

Why? What was the point in investing all that time for a random block.

Any thoughts before I just put it down to life experience.

There are some weird people in here. I had similar with a couple. Chatted for a while, they wanted to meet, I ask when and they block me.

I had a rant the other day about people who keep setting up the same profiles for an hour or two before deleting them. You start a conversation with them and half way through, their profile disappears. Then the reappear for an hour the following day, over and over.

I got a 48 hour ban for that rant because I named and shamed one.

If there's one thing that some time on this site reinforces it's that "there is nowt as queer as folk".

For all it's positives, Fab also attracts a lot of crazies.

Just shrug and move one.

Yeah it just doesn't make sense. Their profile is verified and they were gold member i think but that went over night.

I know men get a bad rep on here cause of sheer numbers, but it's hard when you invest and open yourself up to someone who then decides randomly without provocation to block you.

On the flip side, yesterday I blocked a bloke I was planning to meet today.....

Reason being he got nasty because I wasn't messaging yesterday daytime (due to being very busy decorating) and proceeded to tell me "most people chat on W...app"

Just pointing out sometimes there are good reasons for blocking after chatting for some while...

Yeah I completely get that, we chatted in the morning and then nothing for the rest of the day. I was online this morning and noticed they come on so sent a quick polite hello. I don't do nasty there's no point - I just wank harder later on haha

We get this so much , if we don't reply some guys keep messaging abuse . One guy sent 4 messages to us (we didn't reply once as one we were busy and two he wasn't for us) he then said we should check the forum out as he's told everyone we're lazy and ignorant.

Sometimes it really does get tiresome .

On a positive note it really doesn't make you feel glad you never chatted or met them. Always trust your gut feeling

Sorry to hear that and I'm sure you understand it happens to Men, Women and Couples. Been on many Swinger sites over many years both as a married couple and more recently as a man. As both I've had a lot of similar experiences and it really amazes me how its always the Men that get the blame lol. Sure there are men that are fakes but there are so many Fems and Couples out there that are the same. Over the years I/we learnt how to sus out the Fakes and often I enjoy playing them along.

But by far the worst I/We found were Females and Couples with profile information and Pics that are very old, at best, and basically fake lol. There were many times as a couple we chatted and organised meets with Females and Couples at a neutral place and when we met them were shocked and done a runner lol. One couple we actually arranged to go to their hotel room and when we opened the door their terrible body odor hit us. Still went in but to find a couple that were really not who we expected. Spent about 2 mins and told them sorry but they were not what we are looking for and left. Many similar experiences with females as well.

You have to remember there are many varieties of People on these sites and working out who is real and who is fake is something you have to learn through experience. There is a few tips that I/We learnt that helped. First if they sound great then there is something wrong lol. Never believe what is told without checking lol. We learnt very quickly that the ones that complain about men a lot are really not the type of people they make out to be full stop. Also after chatting we would always chat with others, not their veris lol but just in normal chat to see if anyone has had any real experiences with them. Its actually amazing what you can learn.

But I have to say for us we changed very quickly from looking for Females and Couples to men. We found, yes there were wannabe's who chicken out in the end and fakes but by far most were actually genuine and never met any that we decided to do a runner from lol. Not to say we didn't meet some females and couples and did make some really good friends over the years but we found the men were far better for real profiles and good chat.

I was chatting to the wife of a couple in East Anglia and realised very quickly she was fake lol, yes was a couple but she was telling porkies about what she looked like and what she got up to lol. Cut a long story short using some well rehearsed methods I found out she was really not as great as she made out to be and slowly stopped the chats with her. Did find out she was part of a swinging couple but very different to what the profile stated.

I've learnt from experience and actually enjoy playing them along for my fun lol but never get upset with them just enjoy the banter and move on.

A lot of fake profiles are a gold member (along with fake veris), it's likely they think their profile looks more authentic.

There’s your answer. You can chat to a guy, exchange thoughts and file it for a possible future meet. What you don’t necessarily want is to get a “hello” the very next time you log in. It can feel like stalking and an instant turn off. Anyway what are you supposed to say after “hello” - “hello” back?

You can't account for the wierdness of fabbers. We had a meet planned out, all going well, literally about to head out the door when the male starts demanding more pics. We tell him we are just finishing up getting ready and he won't have long to wait (bearing in mind we have a lot more pics on our profile than they did) and he starts in with "well maybe we should just cancel as I'm not sure you're real"

Then spends the next 2 hours rationalising why this wasn't a shit move by him while I make it diplomatically and subtly clear that he fucked up hugely and there will be no meets going forward.

He kept trying to get back in our good graces off and on for the next week or so then realised it wasn't going to happen.
