So we've been chatting to a couple for about a year, lovely swinging couple just friends, however one half of the couple popped up on social media claiming to be single (profile created and used during this marriage), the profile basically just following the opposite sex and clearly made to look single.

Now do I say anything or do I stay clear as it's not my business?

I feel bad for the other half I'd personally want to know but I don't want to be interfering at the same time.

Moral dilemma.

What would you do?

"Nothing. "

This is my thinking too....I just feel guilty, even though I shouldn't

Somewhere off the edge of the map... 'ere there be monsters

Hmm, it's a tricky one, to be sure. Not sure how I'd handle it, honestly. I guess it would depend on the depth and strength of the friendship?

Do nothing

Just because someone is a fab couple, doesn't mean they're a couple elsewhere

Understandable you don't want anybody to get hurt.

They are a married couple outside of fab too.

Just do nothing. It's not worth getting involved in the shitstorm that could follow if you do

I guess it depends how close you are as friends. And if the role was reversed, would you want to be told?

If you have a group chat, you could drop a casual 'hey, I spotted your single profile on that site. How's that going?'.

Don't get involved. Not your drama, no one can ever be sure what goes on in other people's relationships.

I would block and move on. Getting involved in other relationships almost never works out well.

If it’s on social media and not a sex site then I’d be more inclined to ask, if you could speak to them directly.

I’ve just told my ex wife something about her partner I seen on a site…but we have a good relationship and I’d want to know if it was the roles reversed. Purely for the fact my son has some involvement with him.

A random on here, I possibly wouldn’t say anything unless you can ask directly.

Thanks all, I think I'll leave it be, I'll just have to suck up my guilt and pull the big girl pants up.

I wouldn't say anything. I'd only ever tell someone this kind of thing if I was super close with them and felt like we had a lot of loyalty between us both. It's not my business otherwise.
