Gym bod or Dad bod?

Jump to newest

I was curious what is most people's preference? After speaking to a number of people it seems that Dad bods are the general preference. If so what are your reasons for either?

I was going to say that I prefer something in between. Reasonably fit, but not looking as though they spend so much time in the gym that they won’t have time for me

This is exactly my conclusion lol I think alot of women think that a man that likes to workout alot won't have time for women. It's all about time management

My preference would be dad bod.

Why?I just find them sexually/visually more appealing...

I love the misters dad bod, I'm a bbw so a gym body makes me feel self conscious, can't beat a bit of a bum to pinch and wrap legs around x

Dad bod! Gym bodies don’t do it for me, never have! Reasons? I’m not really sure, but the only guy I know who ever went to the gym only ate chicken pasta/rice. I don’t want to feel guilty for eating a fudge cake or a full pack of biscuits.

Gym bods require lots of spare time, when you’re a dad that’s a luxury that’s hard to fit in

I've never understood the term Dad bod it honestly baffles me.

I understand how pregnancy, hormones, childbirth and breastfeeding all massively affect a woman's body so that makes sense

But how kids change a man's body will remain a mystery to me.

So I'll go for the gym bod for me personally. I like the aesthetic, the power and the stamina it brings

Is it peer review for a paper they’re writing or idle nonsense?

Should have mentioned when it comes to M. You know the phrase 'don't skip leg day' he never missed one

The rest of him might not be in the best shape, but his legs were described by a physio as some of the best developed calves he had ever seen.

If you notice they're almost all started by single guys, so I assume they're a form of advertising.

And none the worse for that.

Given that most men seem to have differing opinions over what a dad bod and a gym bod is, I'd go with the answer... personality wins over and above the body type any time!
