Looking to purchase our first latex items for the wife, bodysuit and corset, hoping someone will be able to point us in the right direction of decent shops that don't cost the earth.

Thanks x

With latex you very much get what you pay for.

Westward Bound and Libidex are my two favourites.

Westward Bound have regular sales - get on their mailing list for that.

Honour is ok, not the best but the best "low-cost" option.

Westward Bound and Libidex would be my recommendations if you know she will enjoy wearing it and will wear it often. definately worth the extra cost.

Make sure you buy some talc too, makes getting on and off a LOT easier!

The previous poster is right - you will need something to help get the latex on.

I prefer talc but many swear by a product called pjur.

I didn't get on that well with it but now I am very experienced with latex I need to try it again.

Also, you can get what is called chlorinated latex which slips on easily.

Works great for a dress but I have some chlorinated latex stockings which don't hold up themselves and need a suspender belt.

Not that I need an excuse to wear more latex

Lube is even better and doesn't leave chalky trails as you sweat.

I can really recommend actually going to Liberation - which is Libidex's shop - in Convent Garden as you can actually try things on there. Helpful to know what you're buying and kind of a fun trip, too.
