I can only relay advice I’ve asked of other couples and what I imagine I would do.

And that’s communication. Both people need to be comfortable a) with who you’re meeting b) with what you’re doing and c) being open about ‘downloading’ with each other after.

I guess in many ways it can’t help but feel ‘weird’ especially the first time. But if the overall experience was good or better then I would imagine you take steps to continue forwards and as long as you’re both comfortable all will be good.
