Originally to explore the scene, this is basically the main site for information and making connections.

In terms of casual hook ups I would use normal dating sites. Lots of women on there looking for the same. Because being a single parent you miss sex and company of a woman but not in a place for relationships.

But I was also intrested in the swinging scene, clubs, Kink and exploring the idea of non-monogamous relationships. This site was a natural choice. I ended up have a few meets on here and making some freinds. Then there was one meet. We were both two single parents looking for some good sex and Kink. I joined a little over a year ago after a relationship ended slowly during the pandemic. Knowing that wasn’t the time to meet people and being a work a holic I found a community on Twitter that isn’t exactly safe for work. That led to talking to some interesting people who pointed to fab

When I first joined I spent a good six months reading the forums and talking to people. Not 100% convinced it was for me and not wanting to waste anyone’s time. It was around the time of leaving that I was contacted by someone whom is now a friend. She is a ‘swinger’ and as she’s lovely and I’m inquisitive (code word for nosey so and so) she kind of gave me a run down of the lifestyle and what not.

I’ve been really lucky with the people I’ve met and as I’ve spoken to people have my eyes opened to things I’d never thought about and am now intrigued to experience with the right people.

As AtoC says, going back to a monogamous relationship I think would now be difficult and therefore the ‘unicorn’ is to meet someone here.

Possible? Yes I believe so. And in the meantime I’ll hopefully speak to and see what happens with those I’m lucky enough to encounter and build a connection with

I don't see fab as a dating site personally. Not interested in dating , hate dating sites and hate that any site, fab, FL, even insta people assume you want to date.

I have been going to clubs 6 years but people started asking what my fab name was. It's a good way to keep in touch with other swingers, find new events and I like the forums.

I don't use it for finding new people. I understand lots of people do.

For me after a 5 year relationship ended I realised I had never really embraced my self I had hoped the relationship I was in would develop in to a ENM one but really only for her to play. Been in many a dating site which frankly bored me to death. It was suggested that Fab and similar sites be a better fit. It has been and had a great time. Currently reassessing what I do want I think it will be a cohort of FWBs. Asking a lot I know!

I was not ready for a new relationship and knew it. To meet a friend and have a great time without the angst and what next stuff.
