If you were on a dating site but not looking for a serious relationship.

Would you tell the men before or when you meet them that you are on fab swingers or how many men you have met, because some men are a bit nosy.

One man i once met on a dating site said he was surprised when he knew i was on another site like this because he thought i was shy.

The ironic thing is that women aren't honest on PoF.

The ones looking for 'intimate encounter' expect to be dated and treat like a potential relationship.

The ones looking for 'dating' are actually quite happy for it to be casual intimate encounter.

Why don't they say what they want instead of the opposite?!

If you dont want to 'date' then join a few different swinging sites.

I know POF is well known for meeting for sex, but i dont see that as swinging, i see that more as a 'one night stand' site.

Fine if thats what you want, but that is neither swinging or dating in my _iew.

I think you can be on both so you can have fun while you find Mr Right, but yes I agree about why would someone wanting NSA be on a dating site.

I'd say that on dating sites most of the blokes are just looking for a shag. Most of the women are looking for a 'date'. Some exceptions, obviously. Makes me giggle when vanilla mates go on dating sites thinking the men are a bit iffy.

OP... I don't tell anyone my business. Not on here, on any other sites or in real life. So no I certainly wouldn't tell a bloke that asked. It's none of his business what my past is.

I have found dates on POF was even seeing someone off there.., and one of my friends has been seeing a guys ages who she met of there... There are a few on there that are just looking for sex...

In some ways I am... However I do use fab for what it is attended for.... Good fashioned NSA fun and enjoyment..

I'm a fan of being honest and upfront. As, based on her profile, the OP is married and looking for NSA with her husband's consent, I think out of respect for any men that she may speak to on a dating site who are looking for a potential date/relationship the decent thing is to be upfront.

this is correct.

also it can be a good way of spreading yourself about a bit and keeping your options open.

I was on pof for intimate encounters then a friend on there introduced me to fab so I deleted pof n I haven't looked back n ironically I've not met my partner n found love unintentionally on here

I don't get why people are confused about people being on both lol.

If you're looking for love it's not necessarily going to hit you in the first person you meet. So if you go on a load of dates looking for love with no end result that's a hell of a long time to go without sex.

So I see no harm in looking for both. Then if you happen to find someone that makes you want to spend time with them instead of looking for other people then you might've found what you're looking for.

Been on both at the same time, and they did not mix.

Hence I am only on FAB now.
