I'm wondering what other people think about this topic. when I started here I classed myself as bi-curious as I had never had a sexual experience with a woman before but was hot on the idea of it. Now that I have happily had that experience, my partner thinks I should now say I am bi-sexual, but I still don't think that fits me right, largely because although I enjoy 'fooling' around with women, I definitely do not want to give up my man/me and their lovely cocks. relationship wise I am for the man all the way, so what am I? Any thoughts?

Agree totally and it's been mentioned to admin that perhaps there should be a category, Bi-Playful.

I'm past the curious stage, but wouldn't play with a woman on her own.

So in a way neither of the descriptions I feel are correct for me

I agree this is a bit more complex than can be said in the distinction bi curious/ bisexual. There are ladies who are bi-accessible for example or those who will play bi in the spirit of the party but are not really bi.

What I would ask is that people only describe themselves as Bi if they really are...

I'm on the gay side of Bi, and have met quite a few bi women on here. But I only want to meet women who are genuinely Bi - who understand their own feelings and are experienced. I want women who can match my own feelings and needs..

I've been an "experiment" for bi-curious women before now, and don't want to do it again - ever ! It's not a particularly nice experience for me, and sometimes leaves me feeling like I've been used as an object of curiosity..

So if you're still experimenting, please say curious.

If you are genuinely open to all the feelings, both physical and emotional, then by all mean call yourself Bi - and enjoy fully shared fun! Thanks lots!

Surely you are bi curious until you decide you enjoy both sexes, either regularly or casually, then you can class your self as straight or bi sexual. As to preferring opposite sex, surely that the difference between bi sexual and gay, simples!! Lol

I would love to agree with you that it is a simple matter, however I think there are so many shades of grey - pardon the pun. Some ladies "experiment" with bi situations and find that they get pleasure out of just giving pleasure whcih is what I have experienced. It does not do anything for me sexually but I enjoyed the fact that another person was having fun.

Another lady might have enjoyed a particualr bi experience maybe due to the "right circumstances" but does not feel the same next time round. So what would she be classed as?

Bi-playful. It's a label that suits me but it isn't an option choice on the profile selection area.

I did put a post up a couple of weeks ago ( quantifying bisexuality ) in which I think I was 60/40 bisexual towards men .

I think you've hit the nail on the proverbial head and I thank you for your words of wisdom. Embarrassingly I had not really thought about it specifically from your point of _iew, it makes sense and to be honest from my point of _iew and for your sake I'm not bi-sexual oh well onward and upward.

I think it does depend on the site you are on . On here then bi would mean that you play with either men or women. On a dating site then bi would indicate you were looking for a deeper relationship.

I see myself as bi, but only on here, its about having fun, and I enjoy fun with women, but dont want to have a 'relationship' with a woman as i already have one with my man !!!

We were heavily criticsed by another couple on fab for describing my wife as bi-curious.

By OUR definition my wife was "curious" enough not to shriek in protest if touched by another women.

This couple - although gorgeous - seemed to expect my wife to go for a full on lesbian shag & were very quick to express their outrage when she declined.

I cannot blame her. The vibe was wrong.

Anyway since then she has met a much less pushy (but just as gorgeous) female & had a fantastic experience.

I would say that yes bi- curious is a term for those myself included who were or are looking for their first time experience. It's then ok to term yourself as bi when you know you've tried it and you like it and are going back for more.

Just because you're bi doesn't mean you'll give up on the guys .... That's what the term lesbian is for.

I've left mine as Bi-Curious, and to be honest think it will remain like that regardless of what others may think! I have had minimal fem play, but I don't think I would ever meet a woman for 1-2-1 fun so I don't see myself as Bi-Sexual, although I did enjoy the experiences and would continue to play with women when the situation is right, but only in group type fun. Bi-Playful would be a perfect description, but without it I'll stick to Bi-Curious with an explanation in my profile about my preferences
