I don't know why but I would have assumed there would be much more meet opportunities up North than down south, travel way down south and the areas tend to not be so racially diverse and I get the feeling that a lot of people like to stick with what they know, which is a shame I guess for everyone.

Historicaly I have had alot of negative responses for meeting on fab because of the fact that I am asian,going so far as chatting and connecting well and looking both partys looking to meet up and as soon as I mention that I am of Asian origin either I get ghosted or point blankly told they are not in to asian men,

So I find it refreshing that there is a positive spin on this thread.

Oh and I am kinky( used to be on fetlife but now use fab much more and still regularly visit fet clubs with a playpartner to and have found that the fet scene is more tolerant/ encompassing of persons of asian/ mixed decent then the swing scene.....I thing alot of Asian men would like to be more vocal in the lifestyle but have been put off by not really getting anywhere/ lack of engagement when trying to on fab.

But I wanted to reply to the op that I have noticed that I do get alot of people who obviously to me disregard me when it comes out that I am of asian( far east not south ) decent...so it's not like I feel "meet starved" or such.its a comment based on observation....I don't mean this in a fucked off way I mean this in a mature,clinical overview.

Well pointed out! And that is what eastern and alot of soutern asian men feel about being on here! Its like from the outset an agenda is set in stone,people are very individual and unique!

My gripe is and will always be. The exterior many cannot change, ie their skin tone,where their parents originated from,most looks are very prominant so get defined and boxed and labeled as unlikable undatebale!

Trust you me,all this mindset is very deep rooted learned behaviour dislike for others,whom they dont know,just from a glimpse of a brief picture,they have boxed and pigeooned them as not their "TYPE/TYPE'S " how weak and shallow are they really? Ego driven and resentfull withing themselves.

Well written. But the issue still lays as it is. You are not viewed oe seen on your merit,worty,petsonality or what you have and bring forth! But because your my,and many others look does not fit a so called " Type " crap label! Even that shifts as the hormones and moods shift, upwards and sideways!!

It's generally a multitude of reasons why SE Asian men or Orientals or however everyone likes to be called nowadays (I lose track) are less visible in these environments. Swinging is not big in most Asian cultures generally. Not to say there isn't. But it's already a niche past time/lifestyle much less in a country where demographically SE Asian men and women alike aren't exactly the majority of what makes up the UK population. This makes us more harder to find than a bloody unicorn if you ask me . Don't get me started when both the couple is SE Asian. We get stares walking into party environments like the whole place stood still for better or worse.

So yeah. At least that's our experience to why Filipino, Chinese, Viets, Japanese etc are hardly on the fore front on waving flags to say we're here. It's just there isn't a huge amount of us to begin with in this lifestyle

I think the reality is that relatively few people from these countries in the UK compared to India, Pakistan etc. and English is often not so good. However, plenty of very kinky men from these countries! I've lived in Japan and China and worked in Korea and there is all kinds going on. You will struggle to find a more sexualised kinky country than Japan (albeit with some bad aspects too).
