We all have preferences of what we are and aren't attracted too. You should be allowed to state that on your profile without any negative comeback, unless it's downright nasty and disrespectful and then you'd deserve to be called out on it

Nope!! It's a preference your attracted to or not attracted to! No different than not being attracted to someone with white or dark skin. Red, blonde or dark hair!

It is a skill of today's modern online minority to straw man anyone's views at the drop of a hat and conflate any preference or thought difference as bigotry or intolerance. It is incredibly dishonest, childish and perfect example here where a ridiculous "fatphobic" name its used so effectively to cause fake outrage, try to pass blame and guilt and silence views and opinions.

We all have preferences, likes and dislikes and we always will. As long as everyone is decent and respectful when talking about them , everyone should be able to say them without fear.

I never see the need tho. I mean if I looked at someone’s profile whom I liked and it said they were not into inked women or crazy hair colours I wouldn’t feel the need to question why or take offence to what they dislike

But what does it achieve? Is everyone going to contact every person they see who doesn't have them as a preference and tell them they disagree and think it's a disgrace? Dating and swinging is discriminatory in its very nature and human attraction is a sub conscious natural process, it can't be constantly reasoned and changed with logic and lectures.

This was going to be my quote. Unfortunately someone is going to be offended no matter what. If you’re a good person this will horrify you and you’ll feel guilty about it. In reality however you haven’t anything to feel guilty about.

Someone said perhaps listing what you’re looking for as opposed to what you’re not. That could be one approach if you’re bothered I guess but I’m sure someone will still find something to be offended over
