Verification inquiry

Goooood morning all.

A thought recently crossed my mind after having this happen.

We recently verified someone.

Shortly after, another profile asked us a few questions about this person which I didn’t really feel comfortable answering.

I then found out that this profile had been messaging who we met for them to meet.

We aren’t bothered that they arranged a meet at all as that’s what this site is for.

What crossed my mind was, is this the done thing?

To check up to see what the person you met was like, what happened and all that.

Carlisle usually

I've had men message me about women I've verified or been verified by too often.

Only once had it happen from a woman about a man on my veris.

For me it's a massive red flag.

Haven't had meets from fab yet to get verified.

However my take is their purpose is to confirm someone is who they say they are and and they turned up to the meet. Not a contact card for a personality review lol.

It’s a bit weird I thought.

The verification is there for all to see. I don’t think you’d be allowed to give a negative verification.

To be asked what we got up to is creepy though.

But surely that’s why they’ve been verified no?

Would you verify someone who didn’t show up? Who wasn’t who they said they were?

I think you can leave a negative one, but they can choose not to display it so it would be pointless and still count in their verification summary as if it were a positive.

That's my point. You verify them and that proves they were who you thought and they didn't ghost you. And that's what I understand they are for.

Was just saying that I don't think people should contact people and start asking questions.

Ahh ok. I forgot that you can choose which ones to show.

I suppose people could ruin others chances on here very easily.

That's weird. It makes me think they're trying to get info on the person to attempt to get a meet by being what they want.

I have had a guy tell me he is good friends with a guy who has verified me. When I checked with the guy he didn't know who he was.

Pretty sly tactics, we’ve had this when we first started, someone messaged a couple who we met and told them not to play with us, go get tested as they had seen Mrs L2 at a bareback gangbang the week before………we don’t meet single guys, always play safe and have never been to a gangbang lol

Yes people do it on here. I don't know why and it is not something I will engage with if someone contacts me about someone I veried. If they want to know about them then talk to them.

I have had a woman contact me about a good friend of mine in fact my Fwb and told me to back off and no longer meet him as she wanted him and felt I was the reason he didn't want to meet her. Ye the reason he didn't want to meet her had nothing to do with me.

The excuse that people ask for safety and to know if the person shows up is a cop out too. If someone has veried someone then they obviously showed up and liked them enough to veri them. You can tell from the wording of some that it won't go any farther than a social but a Veri is just to say someone is who they say they are and showed up anyhow. People should be able to make their own minds up about people without relying on hearsay and what others think. If they are incapable then maybe they should check their vetting process a bit closer.

Its not been an issue for me, but ive seen quite a few comments on other threads, where people openly admit that when they look at someones profile, they will check their verifications.

I think quite a few are aware that not all verifications are genuine.

And i had one guy i was chatting to, offer to verify me, even though we'd never met. In return for doing the same for him.

If they message you asking what you got up to, yeah, that is a bit creepy.

But just asking how they acted on the meet isnt so bad.

It's definitely not the done thing to ask questions about someone you verified and I would refuse to engage unless there was some serious safety issue, such as they had also met them and were worried about their mental health, one of a couple were being abused or something extreme like that. But that is highly unlikely.

I have had randon "nosey" questions asked a couple of times over the years, and I have got in touch with the person I verified and let them know that the username were asking about them.

It is a bit of a weird thing to do. Only thing I could think of is they are new to this and maybe nervous about meeting and not know this is not the done thing?
