Very fast verifications

I keep seeing new people joining Fab (usually single F without a fleshed out profile), and they seem to get verified almost immediately. Does anyone else think they are just asking people to quickly verify them? It just screams fake account to me.

Single females get un indated with messages. They can easily get verified within hrs of being on here.

I wouldn't say fake at all, some would be though.

Profiles being on here months plus without veri or pics I would say more likely fake profiles.

You'll find it's normally a verification off a Man. He's set up a fake profile and verified it himself. 6 minutes is the quickest we've seen.

When I rejoined after a break there were people I'd met on the previous account that verified me within the first day or two.

I wouldn't say it's inherently suspicious. Many people come and go.

Could be someone who's been hooking up with someone already on here and they've been recommended so the person has verified straight away. The ones without verifications for months and months are the ones to question but even then it could be that the people who verified them have just left the site.

As circa 97% - yes honestly - of profiles are either fake or are not actually swingers (i.e. don't meet - just here for inane chat) it doesn't really matter does it? Just add them to the enormous block list.

If you have a veri from someone who has left the site. You loose the written veri but you still keep the green tick and count on profile.

I have introduced a few females to this site that I have met on POF and tinder. They have messaged me when they have set a profile up and I have verified them as I’ve known them for months and met them plenty of times

Did you know that 95.346% of statistics quoted on a forum like this are completely made up to support the argument of the person quoting them?

Just because someone is only here for the chat doesn't make them a non-swinger. They could meet in clubs.

I don't even think they're asking anyone, they're probably using secondary sleeper accounts to verify themselves.

This applies to us too, deleted out old account, rejoined and had 2 verifications within minutes.

I'm coming and going constantly and sometimes ask someone I already know to verify me when I rejoin. I don't doubt there's some less honest ones on here though x

They're not always fake profiles .

To be honest, we don’t take much stock in them for that very reason. We could have easily go verified straight away but waited until it actually meant something genuine. We do understand the need but unfortunately the site is rife with fake accounts and time wasters so it’s an unnecessary evil.
