Just got stood up.

Now, sadly, some of us will know how that feels: Frustration, disappointment. I mean, I even had my best socks on!

Thankfully, it was only a social. (I can only play with guys once I have met them and figured out if I fancy them and their minds a little. It also allows me to out those who may wimp out at last minute on a real meet). Bullet dodged in this case.

He gave a good enough reason…. It sounded plausible - but I am not here to be messed around- thankfully there are lots of other men who may be happy to help another time.

But to cheer me up (and anyone else this has happened to recently)…

Give us your best ‘Get out of meeting’ excuse you have had or can think of?
