Filters are your friend, then you can message those that interest you.

And simply delete messages that you are not interested in.

didn’t want to use filters as we are open to meeting single men but for every decent 1 there is 30 awful ones decent single men don’t hve a chance on here because of the bad ones

With filters, people who you message can reply.

And as a decent single man, I have plenty of chances because the cream rises to the top.

It always amazes me that some profiles (nobody specific of course) state they get so many messages when a quick peek shows no profile photo, no visible images and brief text at best.

We've rarely had more than 20 message a week over the years, often far less.

Good filters, the block button and being happy to just delete in a heartbeat saves so much angst and woe.

There's much than can be done to reduce the odds of an inbox full of crap.

i know you mean begging for a meet, but there are loads begging for money as well

Over time i've had some requests for a fair amount of money. The worst was "i dont have anywhere to meet but you could help me with the deposit for a flat". more often its questions asking "are you generous".

i see people looking for lifts, people to come round for a "living room painting party". Once i was arranging to meet a tv who suddenly said "any man meeting me has to bring me 40 silk cut and a bottle of bacardi". i saw a post on here last night from someone who appeared to have been gifted a dominoes delivery after posting "who wants to buy me dinner".

I've no idea who thinks that a swinger will hand hundreds over to a stranger they've never met before? i hope no-one actually does.

I think you’re right. Unfortunately there are lots of single people on fab who are just looking for hook ups with the another individual. I don’t see that as swinging, just shagging around. Consequently people try their luck assuming that because someone is on fab they will fuck anything.

I always believed that swinging should involve at least 3 people, and from experience that definitely makes for the best meets.

At the risk of doing myself a dis-service, block single men for 1 month. Fairly certain you'll see an instant benefit in the short term and if you decide "it's been a while since I had a good kick in the balls" you can open up to single men again. Or, keep them blocked and only pick single men when you go to a club.

My friend, not a swinger but a naturist who seen his fair share of swinging in the naturist beaches and spa. Still thinks swinging is where "anything goes". He also think that about women in clubs....So yes, I really believe most men have this attitude, because a woman on fab or in a club, they be willing to sleep with anyone that is offering because "they horny and liberal minded". Not sure how you will change this attitude?

I think this attitude is prevalent which is why some of the messages are the way they are.

I think only they can change their attitude.

In my local club, that attitude could get you kicked out, so it's either adapt or stop going.

On here, maybe talking to women on the forum could change their attitude? I don't know.

This is exactly why I am very reluctant to openly put on my profile that we woukd like a guy to join us for a 3some.

Too many undesirable.

Probably a club would be our best route.

And I know my profile is single but I can't change it
