The stereotypical macho status for a man is fairly old fashioned. It is more acceptable in this day and age for a man to be less macho and in some cases be a sub, if that's what both parties enjoy.

I am a very alpha female. Yet only one man has ever made me feel submissive.

However I find in general that I don't find submissive traits sexually attractive.

And while I don't want a dominant man I do find that normally I'm more naturally attracted to them
