We dislike people who don't have verifications but claim to have them on previous profiles or some such.

Our other point is it seems damned if you do and damned if you don't with regard to using places other than home (E.g. Hotel rooms) Someone complained about need for tidiness and the presence of family photos etc. Maybe some are being just a bit hyper critical or super needy of things being just so. Maybe OP that might partly explain your lack of verifications!
