Anyone else have a thing for the gothic or alternative look, particularly on women? Like hot goth girls, s***ide girls etc.

Although we don’t usually dress like that (apart from the tattoos and Mrs’ piercings, perhaps) we both enjoy rock music a LOT and go to gigs regularly etc. and have done for years.

It’s a great look. Shame there aren’t more people like that on here.

Black is my favourite colour with respect to clothing makeup etc.

However, a couple of years ago, I went to a funeral. The female funeral director was absolutely incredible and very professional indeed.

Immaculately dressed in a black top hat. Black hosiery, (Hopefully stockings.) Ankle fastening high heels and a knee length straight black skirt and white satin blouse.

One of my all time sexiest ladies ever imho.....not quite gothic, but similar perhaps?

I've been alt/metal looking for around 35 years. Until about 5 years ago I had dreads I could sit on. Believe me they did a good job of sorting out who I should and shouldn't see

Nowadays with short hair I thought I looked more or less 'normal' (whatever that is) but apparently not. I've been told I just look 'weird'.

Yeah I do, ever since the first girl I ever feel for was a goth girl when I was sixteen and she was 18. Since then I’ve always found gothic and alternative dress on woman very hot and desirable. I use to dress goth back then as well but toned it down as I got older. Still enjoy a lot of Rock and Metal music as well as the scene. Hoping to Metallica at download this year

I find it really interesting that people who aren't in the lifestyle are so interested in the look.

It's really strongly at odds with how alt people get treated growing up, and still socially to a lesser extent.

I say that as someone whose hair is longer than most women's and who doesn't own any clothes that aren't black.

I'm a big fan of the Goth, Steampunk & Emo crowd. I don't adorn such clothing, but love going to Whitby for their Weekends & photographing them. The outfits are amazing, from the heavy big dresses right down to the scantily clad torn stockings etc.

Well if they're a Goth chances are any face tattoo is going to be covered up with make up...neck tattoos are hardly alternative these days..and face tattooing I've seen all that in the 80s.. with punks and skinheads..so I have no problems with tattoos myself wherever they are...too be honest having tattoos is all very mainstream these days..if you want to be alternative keep your skin ink free..
