I am well and truly fed up with the constant stream of messages from single men talking to me about wanting to meeting up when they have their sexuality listed as straight. I just wish everyone had the decency to be open and honest here.

We beleieve this is because there is still a general disaproval about bi men so they dont wish to state in public about it, and dont see why they should have to, at least they have messaged stating there bi. Would you expect every bi guy to come out to friends family or work mates, and we dont see the difference on sites, yeah they wont get meets because of it but thats there choice like its yours to post saying you are bi.

If you dont like it just delete

There are a couple of reasons I don't just block guys. Firstly I am quiet happy to chat to straight guys, and anyone else who'll listen about some of my interests and would have missed out on some interesting conversations had I blocked people.

Secondly I quiet like being persued and chatted up rather than always having to be the initiator, I just get occasionally fed up with those contacting me all hiding behind a mask of straightness.

Like most people I have many facets of my personal life I choose not to share with others but I feel theres quiet a difference between choosing not to openly broadcast your sexuality in public and directly lying about it in an attempt to deceive people into meeting you.

Is there an option to not put your sexuality? To some it doesn't seem right but who are we to question others on how they see their sexuality? If you get a mail from someone who's profile says they're straight who wants to meet,chances are they're bi. But then you already know that. They mailed you. So it's not so much how they see themselves but how you _iew them. If you think they're being dishonest delete/block is an option open to you

Some others may see themselves as 'bi-nosy' and are quite happy to lend a hand during busy periods

if their profile says they're straight and they mail you about a meet,who are they directly lying too? come to think of it who are they deceiving?

Having previously been swinging as one half of a couple we definitely had a number of men pretend to be straight because thats what they perceived had the best chance of getting a meet and then turned out not to be. Whilst this was never a problem for me it was for my ex as although she was accepting of my sexuality she didn't want to see any man to man intimacy. In the worst instance she got quiet freeked out due to an allegedly staight guy grabbing me as I withdrew from her and start sucking me.
