I never spend more than a fiver. It's just not worth it for me because they usually ladder or snag the first time I wear them

I couldn't bring myself to do that. However if you think they're worth it, can afford them and will get pleasure from wearing them then go ahead . A lot of people think nothing of spending £45 on beer and basically flushing it down the loo

If I paid £45 for stockings I'd definitely not be flushing them. I bet they're gorgeous and a joy to wear.

My stockings cost £6.99 a pair. That works out for me on the balance between quality for price and considering how rough I tend to play they never last long haha.

My usual stockings are Gio Fully Fashioned Stockings …. usually Cuban Heels. They are usually around £25 a pair. If I buy the contrast seam and heel (very sexy!!) they are around £30.

The good thing about stockings is, if you ladder one of them, you can keep it as a spare so it makes good use of the cost.
