Fab ages

Scotland

We know alot of people like to change their age slightly on fab (ours is actual age though) might be for reasons of discretion or whatever but when does it go too far.

There is this guy who used to message us way back when we first started on fab, we were in our late 20s. He used to be 10 years older than us then, now he's on as 5 years younger than us. He didn't like it when we called him out on it then insisted his real age was the same as ours.

We don't care about ages in general and will meet much younger or older but the total dishonestly is off putting.

We like to call them the Benjamin Buttons, the guys that you seem to catch up with over the years!

A few years here and there is fine to make people less recognisable. However, if they say they are 40 but cash in their pension on the way to our meet, taking the piss a little bit.

Correct ages here! There’s a lot of guys change their age so they can bypass the age restrictions on couples profiles.

I’m the right age but I’ve tweaked my birthday, just to make me a bit more anonymous.

I’ve seen a few as you describe, I think “Fab age” is a bit like “Fab straight” and has a certain flexibility

Correct ages here. Male about to go up another number next week. That'll be the upper limit of 44 out the window.

Galaxy Far Far Away

I've actually had someone who was lying about his age close his account and immediately open another one with his age matching what I'm looking for to "prove" he was really that age.

100% genuine ages here. We are what we are, we have absolutely no intentions of trying to fool people or put ourselves in an awkward situation by lying

We've come across this now and then too.

It's usually the guy ,or at the least it's the guy that admits he is older.

Quite often it will be a couple where the lady is quite a bit younger than him so he lowers his age .

Carlisle usually

My favourites are the ones with their birth year in their username who are then utterly perplexed as to how you could possible work it out when you ask them why they're lying about their age.

I use my real age. Dishonesty is something I dislike greatly.

Mine is correct. Getting under profile age limits by lying would be a bit daft imho.

We go by what they look like now, you can't rely on stated age for women or men

There seems to be a disproportionate amount of 49 year olds in this community with 50 being the age in which you fall into the fab twilight world?

I would also point out my age is real although I am dyslexic.

My age is real, just have to accept the fact I’m outside others age range.

"My age is real, just have to accept the fact I’m outside others age range."

Of course that goes without saying? There is a rich diversity of wants and requirements on Fab age is just one of them?

There were also some hosts of an under 40s night. When they reached 40 they deleted their account and came back in their early 30s

My age is correct; with a face as well worn-in as mine, it would be pointless trying to lie anyway.??

We have ensured our age is correct and that are photos are regularly updated. We will also only send face photos taken in the last few months. That way, any potential play partners know exactly what they are getting.

We have met couples who have obviously lied on their profile/photos and, we have just walked away. If they have lied from the start, it gives bad vibes and that’s not for us x

Our ages are real, my birthday was the other day and the husbands is in a few days (sex days between them haha!) I don’t see the point in lying, age is something you can easily trip up with especially if you’re doing it to appear closer to other peoples ages. We do have an age range set on here but we go on what people look like as well as the interaction over messages. I’d like to think people aren’t lying about their age but I know people do!

I have my real age but just with a different birthday as I find that too private.

Regardless I'm sure a lot of men with Peter Pan syndrome roam the site anyway so I'm not surprised at the age skewing.

My age is real and has never once been an issue on here. I didn't join until I was 52 and I'm proud of how I look at my current age so I'm not going to lie about it.

Mine is my real age, I think a year or two difference to what you actually are is fine but anymore is getting ridiculous

I can understand the temptation, especially as many ranges stop at 50. But who wants to get all the way to meeting to then be told they're too old? Honesty is the best policy.

Mine is correct ,the year anyway

The month is slightly out for obvious reasons on here.

There's a few men on my updates who leave and rejoin younger than before.Theres also someone o went to school with who is my age ,buy has managed to lose a few years too.

I agree,it makes me wonder what else they'd like about and it really irritates me when an age is changed to bypass a filter .
