Is dogging still a thing? North East area

Just seen a post about dogging. Do people still do that? I’ve never tried it but can see the appeal just don’t hear of it happening much especially in the north east area ??

It does, but not so much in this weather. And some of the spots I knew of aren't used any more as the trees have been taken down to make it more open.
