Stockings advise

I love seeing my wife in stockings but she don’t like wearing them because she finds the clips hard to do and they constantly ping off!!

She is also quite tall at 5,8 is there any stockings that are made longer and a belt that is easy to use and fasten??

Try a slightly more expensive multi strap belt, perhaps with metal clasps.

Like others have said suspender tights are sexy but if you like old fashioned suspenders get the ones with metal clasps.

Or try hold ups

I have some of those all in one mock stockings that are sort of more like crotchless tights for lazy days.

I like the routine of getting dressed and clipping the stocking to the suspenders when I'm getting ready though. The fiddlier ones I sometimes attach at the back before putting them on at all as it can be a bitch getting them sorted behind yourself, but the front and side ones are no hassle.

Have a look on stockings uk website they do fitted stockings and susbenbelts with wide multi straps with proper metal clasps .for different hights and sizes

Check the width guide on hold ups. I always used to have that issue because I assumed I'd need the x-est l at a 36inch inside leg length, but they're designed for wider thighs than mine so I need to go by width not length. For the length issue I find fishnets have enough give to make up for longer legs than intended.

Good quality or metal clasps are the way to go,

I know this sounds weird but also attach the clasps to the stocking tops BEFORE putting them on - this way you can really get a snug fit with the clasp on the stocking, then roll them up your legs & then fit the suspender around your waist

Much easier than trying to attach the rear ones the "normal" way

As a long standing fan and avid wearer of stockings and suspenders I think I have the answer here … as others have alluded to.

I have tried over the years with the cheap, thin, plastic suspenders that seem to form a part of most modern day lingerie. The answer is, but a good quality suspender belt or lingerie with suspenders that has 6 straps, with wide metal clips. … attached correctly they will not come undone.

As for stocking sizing … I’d go for large size … they are usually the better quality stoking and will fit better than the usual ‘one size’ stockings. I am 6ft and never have a problem getting the ridge size if you look around at online hosiery retailers or Amazon and EBay.

Enjoy your wife wearing them … sadly they are becoming a rarity these days.

Agreed, I'm 5'11" and buy large size stockings. Also wear a quality 6 strap suspender belt with metal clasps, not only does it hold the stockings up perfectly but it's sooooo much sexier than cheaper ones. Xx

Snags are definitely worth a look for the more awkward sizes whether you’re taller or shorter and they also do “mock garters” that don’t need a separate suspenders belt. All of my recent photos feature snags of one description or another

Good quality waspie suspender belts with metal clasps are the best but more expensive plus gio stockings do a good range from extra small to extra tall but same again you pay for the quality x

I definitely recommend a site called stockings HQ , they sell very good quality suspender belts and go for suspenders with at least 6 metal clasps .

When past GFs have worn hold ups, they haven't stayed up. The hold ups have just slid down as they walked. They have felt much more comfortable wearing suspenders.

I go for a make called glamoury, they have a range of different sizes and different lengths in hold ups and stockings, I find them really good quality to, the hold ups have never rolled down.
