I'm a guy who loves to wear lingerie and feel so feminine when I do. I love the effect it has on guys who message, or meet in person. However, I have no intention of going in full cross dress mode with a wig and makeup. Should I class myself as a TV/TS?

With the new conception of gender, the point of view of clothes is changing a lot nowadays.. you see straight lads wearing heels of “femine” clothes… I just meet recently a few lads that love to buy “masculine lingerie” which for practical things is not different to the female ones, just says is for men … and they don’t classify themselves as cross dresser or they don’t even feel attracted to other men. They just simply love how it looks and yeah it looks great on them.

So I guess gender goes further than clothes and is more something about how you perceive yourself… you can use all the lingerie you want but if you don’t feel comfortable or perceive yourself as a woman, you don’t need to twist your mind, just enjoy the freedom we currently have.

I love dressing up but I've never been into make up or shoes, I've worn a wig a few times when I've roleplayed as a celeb at a meet but the long hair gets on my nerves! I guess I'd say I crossdress, I definitely wouldn't describe myself as TS/TV

i say you are a panties wearer if it is what you like doing keep doing it.

for me i think this how i see it

crossdresser= men that like to wear women underwear and dress/skirt shoes and a wig with some make up sometimes. do not shave body and do not prepare themselves like a woman would.

Transvestite (TV)= men who do the crossdressing but plus make up wig shave all their body hair try to be as feminine as they can take a good 2 hours to get ready before going out or playing.

Transsexual (TS)= live as a woman dress 24/7 ( and doesn't have to be the slutty dressing just casual women clothes like any woman would wear) they will consider themselves women and present themselves as one.

i might be wrong though

i consider myself to be a TV i am not 24 /7 but i shave all over it take me ages to get ready, when dressed i am a woman and only a woman and want to be refered as such. i take time to look as good as i can for men.

As others have now jumped in with, whilst this is broadly correct .. well how I see it!, there are many other connotations / labels / and variations you will encounter.

I would suggest you are most probably a crossdresser .. or another term to add in is a HPW … or hairy pant wearer .. ie, dresses in female clothes, usually lingerie etc, but enjoys the feeling, quite possibly for sexual pleasure … but has no real desire to look / feel feminine xx

If I was to label myself, I consider myself a TV … or as I prefer to be called a ‘T-Girl’

TVs are (hopefully!) competent with makeup, wear wigs, understand women's fashion, understand prosthetics such as breast plates, and remove their body hair.

I work my ass off on my look, watching drag tutorials and practicing makeup. It takes me 3-4 hours to get ready for a meet or club night, and a lot of money is spent on cosmetics, clothes, and accessories.

In my view, a CD and a TV are two different things entirely. Xx

I'd say that a cross dresser is doing it for personal pleasure, the feeling of the clothes on his skin, regardless of his sexuality. Just clothes, probably not shaving or make-up

Where as a transvestite is trying to embrace femininity and take on a female role, so depilation and make-up to enhance the Experience

Transexuals on the other hand should be in a completely separate category, but the site never listens.

Personally, I love the feel of Satin on me, I have since a very young age. If I had to class myself as anything it would be a cross dresser, I do it because I love how it feels and makes me feel.

I personally do not bother with breast plates. I'm quite happy being flat-chested
