They will add warmth under trousers especially if you go for thicker opaque ones.

Most of the time it's not s xy but I do have several pairs of suspender tights which look like quite ordinary fishnets and have been known to go out in just a body stocking or corset with a coat thrown over the top. I am alao going to wear a crotchless body stocking with a dress and boots at some point

Something practical like thermal leggings and long top. I don’t think us women think of sexy when we want to be warm
