I'm not sure I agree with that, oxxo. Perhaps there might be a little more focus on one's own pleasure if it is just 'sex', but not totally. Just as when making love it is not totally about your partner's pleasure either. A lot of the pleasure for me is to be found in giving pleasure, whether it's sex or making love. It's just heightened to the nth degree if emotions are involved as well.

I make love with my wife, I have sex with my swinging friends.

Whichever I'm doing I am trying to make sure that my partner is getting as much pleasure as myself.

I cannot see any point in making love/ having sex with someone if they are not enjoying it.

The last regular I had, it was very intimate/love making but in the end its still just a meet. Whatever works best for all parties.

Completely agree!

Making love used to be a euphemism for sex - when I was living in a flat in London years ago with three other guys, I said to one that he'd obviously had fun as we could hear him and a girl he'd brought back from the pub making love all night. He said "I wasn't making love, I was shagging her!" which really amused everyone.
