Men are (generally) more in the spontaneous desire camp, whereas women are (generally) responsive desire.

That said, those aren’t one-size-fits-all categories. Age, stress, responsibilities, hormones all play a part in how our desire states, and libidos, change over time.

The stereotype that all men are raging horndogs and always raring to go is a fallacy, and one that hopefully gets countered more and more.

I think ‘rejected’ has pejorative connotation to it, especially in regard to fab.
