Has anyone had any problems at all when going back to a hotel with someone else.

Is a hotel meet a good or bad idea?

I imagine most hotels know this sort of thing goes on and as long as all legal and not causing other guests a problem (i.e. no reputational damage) can't see why they would be bothered. If they cracked down on it I bet they would lose a huge amount of bookings over the year.

At the Britannia in Manchester during the Sparkle event on Friday and Saturday night they had security on the door checking if you were a guest.

I don’t know if this is a regular occurrence during specific events or just at the weekend, but I think it could be quite popular in City Centre hotels.

Honestly, so long as the blokes keep quiet one woman moaning sounds the same as another.

Generally bigger hotels are better as more anonymous. They tend to be less interested in you having a temporary visitor than if someone actually stays the whole night.

They generally charge the same for a large room. So we book that one, Mrs stays in the room, Mr goes to meet the chap, then bring him back. No one has ever questioned it

Never a problem even asked for an answer extra key card. It’s a great idea in my experience x

Premier Inn has always been good for me x I checked in male mode, dresses fully and went out to meet my date and came back in and sat in the bar a while then went to the room then checked out male mode again. Not a word was said.

Some hotels offer day rooms… I think they must be aware of the uses. Ultimately as long as they get the money, you leave it as you found it and aren’t a noise nuisance there’s not much to disagree with. They are most likely to be funny if you are over occupancy of what you paid for.

Premier Inn close to Chams are fine with it. They know what's going on as they are used to it.
