We’ve had a good run of decent weather recently and it’s middle of November so hopefully rain eases up

I got up at 05:50 , a fifty minutes lie in compared with a normal working day.

(All week I get up wishing I could have a lie in and then when we do I can't).

Walked the dogs barefoot in the rain , I used to suffer from sciatica and someone suggested barefoot walking as often as I could and it works for me ,so far .

Back home and breakfast made ,woke C with the dogs jumping on the bed.

Got told off for letting the damp dogs jump on the bed so I didn't draw the curtains or let her know what time it is .

Now sat in bed drinking tea with two snoring dogs between us .

Yeah ,look at us and our superstar lifestyle,go us two !!

I'd suffered with sciatica from my twenties,I worked on farms and probably lifted things I shouldn't of etc .

As naturists we are barefoot a lot anyway but I'll go barefoot anywhere I can and I've no idea if being barefoot was the answer or a coincidence as that doesn't matter to me , it's gone and that's worth the odd looks .

Had a productive weekend regarding paint colours along with an offer of help to do the painting.

First batch of slow cooker meals now on the way, Diced steak and Red wine casserole, enough to make 8 ready meals, Tomorrow will be Sausage casserole, again enough for 8 meals.

Still looking for an additional freezer.

When we came home this afternoon the house felt really cold. We put extra layers on and say like two old fears with a quilt on our knees but we had to put the heating on in the end. The frightening thing is that it hasn't even reached freezing outside yet. It's true it's going to be a hard winter for many

Morning all, think we qualify as I’m 50 and Wolf is 69. Had a cortisone injection in my right knee yesterday which was ouchy ! Hoping it will help it as the weather gets colder.

We have had a busy day, mostly fun. Brunch with friends first, then had my covid booster after a long discussion, complicated stuff !! Seeing family. Laundry.

Now feeling a bit under the weather which is probably because of the covid booster. In bed listening to football

if you rest the leg for a good period after the injection then cortizone is fantastic, works wonders

Good morning, been to get grocery shopping at tescos click n collect, so cold though.

Only side effect from my booster is a painful arm and a headache

Thanks for the info, I’ve rested it yesterday and not done lots today. It’s feeling better already.

The forecast for today is for sunshine and so far no rain, but these things have a habit of changing during the day.

Change of plans for today, my daughter decided not to go out today so I have been relieved of having my 3 grandkids at my place.

Think it will be a potter round the house day, always something needing my attention.
