I'm curious how many people actually do this, I've been told several times I'm picky and take one for the team? This is something I'd never do, surely if there's no attraction or connection then it's just not hot and therefore no point at all!

So question is how many do "take one for the team?"

Nope ,my poor other half has lost out on many meets ,because I'm fussy and had no attraction to the male of a couple.

This is why we have out own profiles ,so he can still meet couples on his own .

I'd hate to think someone met us and thought they'd taken one for the team ,if they played with one of us and weren't attracted to us.

It would be a horrible feeling wouldn't it thinking someone has met you and isn't attracted to you, I just couldn't do it.

Neither of us would 'take one for the team' - the best thing about swinging for us is sharing each other's enjoyment. If one of us wouldn't enjoy playing with others then we wouldn't play.

People do. We were chatting at a party once and a woman said she takes one for the team all the time. She was quite cheerful about it all and saw it as a nice thing to do for her partner.

Being a good wingman, the last thing I want to do is cock block and my mates over my many years in the forces have been the same, so taking one for the team has been the done thing...

It does sound quite vulgar but so long as everyone has a good time I don't see a problem...

Can't see many people who would admit this, which would likely further increase their discomfort.

I've made mistakes with going with a couple of people in the past but that approach is left there. And I'd not do it for a partner to be happy.

I think people do this more often than they say they do... its almost inevitable that someone in a group of 4 is going to be less enthusiastic about someone they are playing with, but when you see your partner having a great time, it may be worth it!

When I have played as part of a bi couple with other bi couples, we were sometimes both attracted to one half of the couple more than the other, so we would just make sure we switched a lot during play so neither of us were feeling like they were missing out. Of course, if one of us was uncomfortable about playing with them, we wouldnt play at all. Everyone has a veto. Always.

As a single female, I am usually really attracted to one half of a couple and less excited about the other. It is very rare for me to be equally excited about both. Almost always, its pretty easy to create a scenario where we can all enjoy playing without crossing any boundaries or feeling weird...

Sometimes I will just say "Id really love to do x, y and z with person A whilst person B does a, b and c. How do you feel about that?" If they say "Id like to do x with you too" I just say "Sorry, thats not something I wanna do with you right now, even though Im happy to do it with your partner. Is there something else that you would like to do? Or maybe your partner can do x whilst I do something else?"

Then its clear. If they dont want to play or they want to renegotiate what we are going to do together, thats great. It shows they are thinking about what they are or arent happy to do. Communication is a great thing

Yep, also have some respect for the other person.

I've been in a situation where it became obvious the guy just wasn't in to me, he just wanted to watch his wife and basically used me as a way of achieving that.

I agree with this - there's a lot of pleasure to be gained from giving pleasure. It may not be as intense as when you've totally got the hots for someone, but it can still be a lot of fun.

But then there are very few women who put absolutely no effort into looking good - maybe if I was a woman looking for men I'd feel differently.

I've been asked to many times in the past... more to do with me meeting outside of what I'm comfy doing. I'd never do it now though
