I see loads of profiles with a profile pic that you can't actually view - that is, it's not public.

Yet there's no option to choose a profile pic from friends only.

What gives?

When we aren’t meeting, we don’t out a profile pic up as it curbs messages and stops it becoming a chore logging in

Put a picture public, set it as your avatar then go back and change it to private.
